Tara Air cargo smashes in Simikot
A cargo belonging to Tara Air crashed in Simikot of Humla district, Friday morning.
A Dornier 9 NAJQ loaded with groceries that took off from Nepalgunj Airport at 8.14 am met with an accident due to heavy landing on the slippery runway, Civil Aviation of Nepalgunj confirmed.
According to Civil Aviation at Nepalgunj branch, the front part and wings have been damaged in the accident.
Meanwhile, three crew members—Captain Bodhraj Niroula, Assistant Captain MM Shrestha and Air hostess D Joshi–are reportedly safe.
