Annapurna Circuit Trek 14 days
Annapurna Circuit Trek 14 days cost: $595.00 per person (Max. 02 pax.)
A traditional Himalayan adventure, the 14-day Annapurna Circuit trek circles the Annapurna massif and reaches a peak elevation of 5,416 meters at Thorong La Pass. This moderate-to-difficult route is well known for its abrupt changes in terrain, from terraced fields and subtropical forests to dry, high-altitude deserts.
We begin with a picturesque drive from Kathmandu to Bulbule. After that, we take a quick hike to Ngadi to stretch our legs before spending the night in a local lodge.
We set out on the trail in the direction of Jagat after a filling breakfast. As we continue into the Marsyangdi Valley, the path meanders through verdant scenery.
Our journey today takes us to Dharapani. As we ascend higher into the Manang district, you'll notice that the terrain begins to change.
We keep climbing in the direction of Chame, the region's administrative center. As we enter the pine forests, expect breathtaking views of Annapurna II and clean mountain air.
We travel from Chame to Pisang over the course of the following two days. Some of the trek's most striking views of valleys and rock faces can be found along this section. We'll take our time to enjoy the view and get ready for the higher altitudes that lie ahead.
Most people agree that the Annapurna Circuit's most picturesque day is the hike from Pisang to Manang. This trail offers panoramic views of Annapurna II, III, and IV, but it includes a challenging, steep ascent at the beginning.
Trekking is important, but so is rest. To allow our bodies to acclimate to the thin air, we will spend the day in Manang. You can go on a quick hike to a nearby glacial lake or explore the nearby monasteries.
We depart from Manang and make our way up to Yak Kharka, feeling rejuvenated. You'll probably see yaks grazing in the high-altitude pastures, and the climb is steady.
We head to Thorong Phedi, the base of the pass. Even though the trekking day is shorter, every step matters because of the altitude. To get ready for the big climb tomorrow, we'll go to bed early.
This is the major one. We set out before sunrise, navigating the trail with headlamps. Although climbing the 5,416-meter Thorong La Pass is extremely difficult, the 360-degree Himalayan vistas are breathtaking. After that, we'll descend to Muktinath's hallowed temples.
We hike into the windy Kali Gandaki Valley after passing through the historic village of Kagbeni. We're going to Marpha, which is well-known for its apple orchards and regional brandy.
We leave the high desert and travel to Tatopani. Nothing relaxes your muscles more than taking a soak in the natural hot springs after days of strenuous hiking.
To get to Ghorepani, we ascend once more through rhododendron forests. Poon Hill, one of Nepal's most well-known vantage points, is accessible from this village.
We walk down through Hile to Nayapul on our last day. After that, we'll take a local ride and then a private vehicle for a seamless trip back to Pokhara's lakeside comforts.
