Over 200 tourists arriving in Bandipur daily
The tourists visiting Bandipur of Tanahun district has been increasing daily as Nepal Tourism Year 2011 (NTY-2011) draws near, RSS reports.
According to Bandipur Tourism Development Committee (BTDC), more than 200 tourist are arriving at Bandipur daily while the number used to be some 40 previously.
Most of the visitors are from China, Japan, Australia, Germany and America and more tourists are fascinated by the Himalayan ranges, artistic houses, and rural ambience of Bandipur, said Raj Kumar Shrestha, former chairman of BTDC. It is also said that some two dozen hotels in Bandipur are overcrowded with the visitors.
