Interaction on Mountain Tourism
Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) organized a daylong interaction on ‘Adventure Mountain Tourism: Issues of Khumbu’ in Lukla on April 26. The interaction was organized on the sidelines of Khumbu Tourism Festival. Around 80 stakeholders, including local tourism entrepreneurs, trekking workers, airline representatives, non-government organizations, among others participated in the interaction.
The participants held interactive discussions on porter issues, hotel menu, airlines, marketing of tourism products, responsible tourism practices among others.
