KATHMANDU:A central committee of the NEpal Independent Hotel workers Union issued a press statement on tuesday expressing serious concerns over the government decisions to shut down seven hotels located inside Chitwan National Park(CNP).
The government had on Jult 15 ordered a halt to yhe issuing the licenses to seven hotels inside the CNP,after the contract of 16 years given to these hotels expired on July 13 this year. The statement said the government should work to reopen the closed hotels.It is said that the hotels are providing employment to more than 1000 locals.
