PYUTHAN: The inflow of tourists has gradually increased in historical tourism and pilgrimage site, Swargadwari, with the beginning of this year.
The arrival of religious tourists has gone up here with the publicity of Tourism Year-2011 and approaching of Baisakh Poornima (full moon day in the month of Baisakh), according to Swargadwai Ashram.
It has been difficult to accommodate night stay of tourists at a time when the number of tourists is ascending.
The Ashram is facing trouble to manage the stay of tourists since there is no capacity to accommodate more than 200 at a night.
The Ashram itself has made necessary arrangement for shelter to the devotees free of cost while food service is also provided in a subsidised rate.
The influx of tourists has invariably gone up this time with the outset of New Year while the number of arrivers was only two in a day in the past, informed Accountant of Ashram, Basudev Bhattarai.
Annually, around 200,000 Indian and 120,000 Nepali visitors are recorded to come to Swargadwari for religious and tourism purpose, according to Hari Adhikari of the Ashram.
