"Totally recommended."
Me and my friends visited Nepal for the first time and it was only an 8 day trip so we had to shorten the length of the trek from 6 days to 4 days. We were very satisfied with the guide (Krishna) and our porter (Dhivas). They were very nice, polite, and they were like friends to us. The guest houses that they chose for us always had the best view of the place during the trek. The management on Kathmandu was also helpful and they made time personally to oversee the whole package. They also helped to exchange our money so it was a one stop center for your traveling needs. Totally recommended.

Kathmandu Pokhara Tour

I've been to Nepal twice. My first trip was about 10 years ago with a group of 4x4 off-road entourage which started off from Kuala Lumpur to India. There was a stop over at Kathmandu for less than 2 days although we visited some of the main popular spots.. I felt that was not enough to embrace the rich and colorful culture of this beautiful country and has so much more to be explore.. In Oct 2012, myself and 7 others make a private trip to Nepal again but this time we stayed longer and discovered different experience with the help of a local guide Raj which tailored our itinerary to our request. Our first stop was at Peaceful Cottage, a hill resort with a different appeal.. We did a bit of trekking to Gandruk, most of us not so young ladies, never had training, had no idea of what "the journey" was like .. . but it was a great experience!!!
Island Peak Climbing

Our group did a trek to Island Peak (Imjaste Peak) in late March this year. We had a wonderful trip with our tour guide Surya who was helpful and arranged all the stuff properly. Our mountain guide, Pancha, was skillful and experienced. Without his training, I thought I could not reach the summit as I did not expect to use ice axe, harness, ascender, and carabiners, etc. It was really a great experience!
Annapurna Circuit Trek

I did the full Annapurna Circuit with a guide and a porter from Nepal Sports Tours & Travel. There are so many agencies you can chose from in Thamel, so it's hard to know which one is the one to go for. We've been in contact with a few and experienced that some would even get upset and a bit rude when we didn't chose to hire them. The crew from Nepal Sports Tours & Travel were lovely. Very helpful and warm, not pushing us at all and much cheaper than their competitors too!
After having done the Annapurna Circuit I would recommend people with a bit more experience in trekking to not take a guide, but just a porter. Since it's almost impossible to get lost around the trek and there are very good maps available for the main and off road routes. Along the way you will meet many people to share your experiences with and even to help you decide on taking other routes or to walk together with.
A big plus with having a guide is that you don't really need to think about money during the trek. From the money we paid the agency the guide pays all the tea houses and three meals a day. Excluding any extra's like energy bars and alcohol.
All in all, when you decide to take a guide and porter, I can not recommend Nepal Sports, Tours & Travel highly enough!
Annapurna Base Camp Trek

It was during my first trip that I experienced great support from my guide and porter which was necessary considering I had never trekked before at high altitude. I achieved my goal and reached Annapurna base camp. I realised how important it is to have an experienced team with you when taking on these types of adventures and was ever so grateful. Having had such a great experience I decided to go back again with some friends this time for an EBC trek, and although I was not able to reach base camp, I was still able to have a wonderful experience. I highly recommend these guys for all your needs should you choose to embark on a memorable experience.

Island Peak Climbing

Our team flew to Hillary airport in Lukla with a team of Nepali Sherpa, for the trekking to kalapatthar and a summit of Imjaste peak(6198m) also known as Island peak. We had a group of highly trained Sherpa for transporting our Geras,Equipments Tents & foods. All together we were on a group of 16 including 6 white climbers. The Team leader Rinji Sherpa ,from khumbu region was very knowledgeable about this region from his child hood, Making successful ascend on Amadablam, Mt Everest, Mera peak & island peak for times.
This was the first time I have ever seen such strong human beings on earth, working with more than 50 kg of loads on their back at such High altitude. Their Team was Solid & highly professional on high altitude. With rolling 10 days from Hillary airport, 5 of us made a successful ascend to our dream land since 2000.The food and the equipment they used in Mountains was above our expectation . Very good & hygienic foods, being served by smiling Sherpas.

Hillary Village Trekking
I came to Kathmandu without any idea what I could do. I wanted to trek that’s all.
After that I happened in Surya’s Sports Tours & Travel. It must been a attitude from the heaven. From the begin we was n the lame line. He prepared me a trip from Kathmandu to Lukla, then walking until Tengboche. For me it was the best I could have. Even the weather was almost very good.
I could not believe that mountains can be that high. Now I know it better.
I had a dream to do all this before I die, since I am at age of 65.
Annapurna Circuit Trek
Trekking Guide – Pesal – was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgable + helpful.
Beautiful scenery, amazing National Park at Chitwan- extremely accommodating staff.
Mountain hotels very- shop around for those that provide hot waters and ever a hot fire in the dining room, hotel fishtail in Pokhara is recommended . Hotel Namaste (Ghandruk) need a miss !

Hello Milan, Namaste!! Its been very busy since we both returned from Nepal. Carrie is now in Switzerland and I am very busy working.
