The exploration was promoted by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and supported by Annapurna Area Conservation Project (ACAP), DDC Kaski, Lwang Ghalel VDC and Paddle Nepal.

The exploration was organized to promote Kudi Falls at Ghattekhola of Lwang Ghalel VDC as a canyoning site.

“We organized the exploration to promote the area as a hub for adventure tourism,” acting president of TAAN Pokhara Chapter. “Now we will promote Kudi Khola as a destination for adventure tourists. We hope it will help bring in more adventure tourists to Pokhara,” he added.

The Kudi Falls is 107 meters tall.

As the canyoning site lies on the Mardi Himal Trek, locals are also preparing to open home stay facilities in the area.

Dhan Prasad Gurung, coordinator of TAAN’s HR & Training Department, and Ranjan Rajbhandari, coordinator of TAAN’s Sports & Events Department, were present in the concluding ceremony.
